Lago Vista School ProfilesElementary School Middle School High School Lago Vista ISD is home to three campuses-one elementary school (grades PK-5), one middle school (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12).Outstanding achievement on the 2002 Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (TAAS) test earned exemplary ratings for Lago Vista Elementary School and Lago Vista High School. Our middle school earned a recognized rating. We are proud of our school district because of the performance and accomplishments of our students. Two of our campuses are "Exemplary Rated"! Our Elementary school was 1st Place in Texas recognized by International Reading Association. Our Lago Vista Independent School District Staff were awarded a superior rating of 'FIRST' (financial integrity rating system of Texas). We are in complete compliance with NCLB (no child left behind) program. We offer a full range of special programs including dyslexia, ESL (English as the second language), tutoring programs for reading gifted and talented, and service for children with special needs. L VISD participates in all major UIL competition and most of the individual student/athlete UIL activities. When our students enter these competitions they almost always come home with a bevy of outstanding awards! |
